I wouldnt worry to much i went to see a dr this morning due to other things but bubs is lying transverse (across my tummy) and what i thought were kicks are actually punches!! Zaara was head up legs down for the longest time...I think she turned at 32 weeks...when most babies turn at 28 weeks......Dont worry! i wouldn't worry about bubs lying breech just yet. as jax said they turn themselves around from about 30-35wks. my midwife suspected jack was lying breech still at 37wks so we had a scan and sure enough, he was. little bugger as a result he was born by c-section at 39wks. but in saying that, they can also leave it to the last minute to turn

Fair enough, baby was head down at my last scan but sonographer and midwife said she was not likely to stay that way all the time, and it certainly doesn't feel like she is still all that often now LOL

She read it off the Scan report. I'm a little surprised that your midwife could tell how baby is lying, I thought it was more the size of the uterus itself that determined what 'shape' you take rather than the baby's position - at least at that stage of the pregnancy. I don't think it's anything to worry about yet, I too have heard that it's pretty common, and they will only start to consider it a problem once you get past 34 weeks.

While my 2 (no idea on this one yet) were not breech, my sister was. It is fairly common, as I'm sure a few of the mums on here will be able to testify to! Kathrine turned on her own, and Mum was able to deliver her with no complications.

Just a quick should i be worried question!

Baby is lying in breach position across my tummy which could be why i don't poke out front that much. Should i be worried about this at all?
