I put him down at 2pm as normal, but we had had friends around for lunch so he was pretty hyped up and I thought he might take a little while to settle.  At 4pm I went in to get him up and he had finally fallen asleep (Slept for 45 minutes).  He was happily talking and playing in his cot for the full 2 hrs, no crying or whinging...<br /><br />So yeah the 2 sleeps thing doesn't always work out for us, but usually evens out]]>

(bugger!)<br /><br />6am wake (6.30am getup), sleep 9am - 10.30ish, sleep 2pm-3.30ish and then bed around 6-7pm <br /><br />Some days I wonder if he is ready to drop a sleep,  but if he misses one he sleeps extra well during the day the next few days... catching up!]]>

Daniel is 16 months and gets up anywhere between 7-7:30 and goes down for his nap 1pm. If he stays up longer, say if we are out at lunch at a restaurant, he will cope staying up longer but you can see he's getting tired]]>
