If there is no theme then jeans, dressy top and boots is the uniform. (well at least at our work it is and goodness knows we are renowned for our rather infamous party buses!)

Well, I wasnt invited in the first place, its him and his best friend. They are dressing up. And then I complained that everyone was bringing their partners except him, and now Im invited. Maybe not soberdriver... but will no doubt have to help him home (SIGH)

I dont think hes worried about other people coming onto me, i think hes worried I WILL be overdressed and he will get made fun of? I dont know... mEH!
He said Id look out of place.. So then I said "But you are dressing up in a COSTUME, and its not a costume party.. and you think IM going to look out of place?! And he said "Ive already told you what the dress type is, why keep asking. "

Its really got me wanting to go in a dress now If he sends me home then so beit

I agree with everyones thoughts....

An office DH used to work in years ago had bus pub crawls on a fairly regular basis so I went on quite a few! I always wore dress jeans and a funky top with boots or comfy low heels. I would also take a light cardigan or wrap, as often the buses (in my experience) are either too hot or too cold!

SURELY the girls wont be wearing hoodys?! On a bustrip! It would get awfully hot!

Personally I would wear nice jeans, cool funky dressy top and high heeled boots. You have gorg hair so get it curled or something - who cares what everyone else is wearing, when you stop at the bars the girls in there will be probably wearing similar to what your wearing anyway so you will fit in nicely.

Do you think maybe he doesnt want you to look really nice in front of his work mates as scared they will come onto you or something?

The reason I ask is because DH said that if I wore a dress I wont be coming... and that there is no need for me to dress up. And that most of the females will be wearing jeans and hoodys/jerseys. Its making me not want to go anymore....... Boots, a nicer alternative to the the gumbies, surely?.

A long strapped purse/bag that you can put/strap over your body (keeping your hands free for dancing/holding beer/fending off wandering hands as well as containing your makeup etc). A light cardi (but not so good that you can't afford to lose it) for the bus as these things tend to be air conditioned to the max.
