I dont think it is permanent though, but its the only brand i know that you could trust that does bright random colours. Its also what most hairdressers use on my friends when they want some pink or green or some other random colour streaks through their hair.]]>

Same with the blue as long as its well covered it should be easy. If it really doesn't look good you can buy a cheap brown hair dye for less than $10 and dye it back.<br /><br />Go busydad make sure you post a pic!]]>

(have also dyed it purple, pink, bright red and illuminous yellow, ah teenage years), the only trouble was it went this horrid green colour as it washed out. I didn't lightened my hair first as i'm blond. So in short i would see a professional if he wants it for more than a couple of washes. If he just wants it for halloween or something though I would look for one that washes out after 8 washes so if it goes wrong it doens't last long.]]>

Would it be best to get him to get a professional to do the hair dye or is it easy enough to DIY without your hair going green?<br /><br />Anyone know? Or have teens in the know LOL?]]>
