Thanks Just found out last nite that Granddad has the tumour in his gullet (well top of his stomach) and cant eat anything, is @ 45kgs and losing that fast. Thnks heaps girls! David is taking Arna to Hamilton this weekend to see Granddad and my mum is coming up from Palmy to keep me company and then I will be going to hamilton next weekend so that is working out ok.
David doesn't trust anyone well enough for both of us to leave the farm so we have compromised!! And I get to go shopping this weekend too
So my week is slowly getting better,rang my friends parents up last night and said I couldn't make it back and all of that and they understand cause they are farmers too. Am sending down some flowers and photos and a gift tomorrow.

Hey Girls, I just need to get this off my chest so there is really no point to writing this...
On Friday night we found out that David's granddad has stomach cancer and a matter of weeks to live - he has lost 10kgs in the last 2 weeks and he is only 55 kilos to start with, has 30% of his heart working and is diabetic.. David is going over to Hamilton this weekend (in a week) to see him but I gotta stay at home to look after the farm and milk the cows etc so prob won't be able to go over until the funeral.
And then I found out about 10 mins ago that a real good friend of mine from high school got killed in a car accident last night and because of what is going on with david's grandad I prob won't be able to go back to Palmy for the funeral...
