I've been changing her on the floor where all her toys are and grabbing them but for the most part she gets on all fours which I don't mind, can still change it (it's sitting up that's a pain). Thanks for all the tips, hopefully this can help out other people too!

P.S. Just LOVE the Elmo icon!

We have 2 - a Peter Rabbit one that has 5 nursery rhymes and song book with sound effect buttons (cow, sheep, phone, clock etc). Amy would either press the song and I would sing along or with the other book I would ask her to press the moo, or say where is the phone. Still works now in times of desperation (and particularly foul nappies )
Jack is only allowed them when we change his nappy and then after we put them back and wave goodbye until the next nappy change. That works about 95% of the time. Otherwise he often likes holding the nappy cream jar. Oh and we have a mobile beside it which worked when he was younger

I still strap Oli to the change table, but he wriggles something chronic, and turns himself over and tries to kamakaze off the side of the change table!! I have a selection of empty bottles and containers (old moisturisers / talc etc) that I give him to play with, I try to give him something different each time...some days that works. He seems to particularly like playing with formula scoops and shoes whilst having a bum change, so keep them handy too. It tends to be a lot easier when DH is home as he can hold him down, but most of the time its a struggle!!! I know another one of the Oct mummies gives her little one those little cardboard books to read. Could be worth a try!

Much screaming, wriggling, trying to sit up and tears. Not too bad when there is only pee but trying to wipe up poo is a mission!

Any tips on getting her occupied during nappy change so she stays still (and preferably lying down)? I read once that pegging pegs on their top sometimes works, will try that, any other advice?

TIA!
