This is because fungal spores can remain for that time.<br /><br />If the cream isn't working, I'd be taking Lucy back to the doctors.  Maybe ask for a skin scraping test to be done.]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=10411">caraMel</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 22353<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 10 November 2008 at 3:06pm<br /><br />Try to keep it really dry and give it lots of air, as fungal infections thrive in warm moist conditions.<br />Assuming she's still in nappies and the rash is around her groin, change the nappies as frequently as possible to avoid her sitting with a damp bottom and give her nappy off time whenever you can.<br />I swear by cornflour for bum rashes, it has always worked really well for clearing them up in our house. Make sure the area is really well patted dry and apply after every change and bathing.<br />Also, I stop using wipes, soaps and moisturisers until the rash is completely healed.<br />Hope this helps!]]>

Has hydrocortisone in it.]]>

Have been putting some cream on it for the past 2 weeks and it seems that it isn't getting any better. It flares up after a shower.<br /><br />Is there anything that we can cut out of her diet? or should I go back to the doctor?]]>
