I also did a lot of post-it notes. - find examples of theme, of how characters change, relationships.

Do you know anyone else in the course? if you do, divide up the reading and teach each other about it.

it's a ncea website but has FAB ideas of how to study extended texts (novels)

I'm studying for exams (well, will be when Private Practice is over) and have my first one on Wednesday. It's an exam on 18th Century Novels, I have a good idea of the subjects / themes that will be covered.... BUT I'm way behind on my reading and worried I won't be able to fit it all in in time.

Anyone have any flash read-and-retain or speed reading tips?
