I used to express into a seperate container and refrigerate it, then mix it with the other refrigerated milk. And date the container with the date of the oldest milk.

I don't see a problem with popping a cube of frozen milk in with fridge milk to top it up, if it's warmed and used straight away.

If you don't manage to express enough before saturday then you could use the BM that you have and top it up with a small amount of formula, since it's just a once off thing... just don't stress about the expressing because it will make it harder!

Also being in a nice warm place or having a warm shower before expressing is meant to help. Drink lots of water and have a snack, and think loving thoughts about your cute baby

You are doing so well to have made it to three months

However Emily is going to Nana's for the night and I really want her to have breat milk so i have one frozen botte of 100ml plus about 8 ice cubes. My question is the ice cube's were expressed over 3 day's frozen straight after each express is it ok to use all of them together as one feed? I felt really silly last night I put Emily to bed thinking she has enogh expressed off 100mls the she woke for moreand just cried at the boob there was some coming out buty I am giuess it was the lack of flow so anytip's on expressing would be good I really need another 200mls before saturday.
