Our Paknsave in Lower Hutt xmas vouchers are given out in November and are valid for a year. Will pay to check with your paknsave as to how long your vouchers last until they expire if you are looking at getting a lot to last for a while otherwise def your best way to go.

I would definitely look into esp if you are anything like me in the fact that having to pay more for something that you dont need too isnt worth it. Esp when the mark up is anything from $50 to $100plus.

Our vouchers at Pak n save are valid for a year and can be used anytime. I have found them fantastic after christmas and New Year when you need a bit extra after all the spending over the holiday period

Last year I got xmas club vouchers from Pak'n'Save. Got just over $400 for the year just buying the odd $10-$15 vouchers every 2 weeks. Thing about them is that you can only spend them in December and after a certain date. I started doing it this year but as I moved up here I wasn't able to do them. But I still ahve $55 worth of them sitting at home that I will use for stuff.

I have been dong Chrisco for the last 5 years now, which has included the food hampers, vouchers, toys, pamper hampers etc and I have found over all the cost for what you actually get is 50% more than you would spend going to the supermarket getting the exact same thing. the hampers have got smaller and dearer and the vouchers have a 8% mark up. I cancelled my payments for next year and have  a paknsave Xmas club acct,  the best thing about this is, it is a Direct debit to my xmas account and all for the certains months of the year you get between 4-6% interest on what you paid in the acct that month. I have also done this for the past 2 years just to cover all my basis and it has been fantastic, the vouchers are also valid for the year.

This is what I will do or get supermarket vouchers each week whatever you can afford then go in and do a big shop

I get the chriscos hampers as well, I've also done the vouchers and toys etc. One year we got a BBQ. I hate shopping at xmas time no matter what its for, would rather avoid going places and also with 2 kids now timing a supermarket run is a mission at the best of times. I just start putting money in and then choose which ones I want in a couple of months when i've seen what this years hamper is like, I don't think we have had the same one twice!
