Ooh, me too! Infact the last time was just a couple of days ago. I never know whether I should just pretend I was talking on my (invisible non-existant) hands-free phone too! You do feel like such an idiot....

The worst one is when someone starts walking towards you like they're going to hug you and you kinda start to hug them back in case you know them......And then you realise they're going to hug the person behind you. standing at the bus stop and the stranger next to you says
"hi " , so you say "hi " back
they say "how are you ?" you say "um...fine thanks, ...how are you ?"

then they say "omg I know , have you heard from Sarah since the weekend ?"

and you realise that they were NOT talking to you , but were actually talking to their cell phone .
To someone else .

And you (or in this case , me ) feel like a right idiot .
