I might have to keep trying the infacol for a bit longer and rub her backa bit more at night to see if it helps.

Thanks for the advice.

Good luck and - it is very hard when they go from sleeping well to not sleeping. You get so used to having your 8 hours and I am a mess after I have had a couple of night up with the kids.

E will cry in his sleep occasionally but lately it's been wake up and cry (in pain)and only a cuddle will settle and occassionally that won't work.. we think it is teeth as Bonjela calms him down and he normally goes back to sleep a bit after we try that. ..so no brilliant suggestions but we try to avoid feeding as we not long ago got him out of that habit but a few times we have had to to get him to go to sleep and it's very random..fine for a week then like that for a few days..

    Author: Mikki
Subject: 22605
Posted: 21 November 2008 at 7:06am

My daughter is niow almost 7 months, she was such a good sleeper early on and she slept through the night since she was about 3 weeks old.

For the last month she has been waking frequently throughout the night, sometimes 4 even 5 times, she doesn;t just wake up stirring or wanting a bottle she just simply cries, but her eyes are still closed so I think she is still aslpeep. She is not a crying baby so this is not normal for her. I usually try a bottle and she will take it, but that wont settle her, usually i get up take her out of the room, and put the tele on,, which seems to wake her up properly and then 5 minutes later she will go back to bed.

We have taken her to the doc and there is no ear infection or anything. She did have a tummy bug recently, so the doc did suggest maybe she was getting stomach cramps, usually when i get her up she will burp a bit and do lots of farts. Its like she has really bad wind, but this never happens during the day only at night.

She is not teething that we can tell. But she definatley cries like she is in pain.

Does anyone have any ideas, and I am now back at work so its getting very tireing.

I just want her to have a good night sleep.

Edited by Mikki
