I wouldn't stress.  My dr prescribed me canesten a few times while I was pg & neither he nor my mw or the pharmacist mentioned anything about being careful with the applicator.  So I just did it like normal... and my lil girl is now 2months old!  I also think that once the placenta is doing it's job you don't have to worry as much about that kinda thing.  And you'd be in that boat by now I would think <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0"> ]]>

Also your CM will be creamy but shouldn't smell.<br /><br />The yoghurt works for me but doesn't work for one of my friends so I guess it depends on the person. If you do use yoghurt make sure you get unsweetened stuff as the sugar exacerbates the thrush.]]>

When I was pregnant I was allowed to use the applicator for thrush but had to be careful. That often stops me going nuts.<br /><br />Also try to eliminate bread and sugars for a few days and eat lots of natural yoghurt (or you can get acidophilus culture in tablet form from your health shop) ]]>

They say to soak a tampon in it but obviously tampons are not allowed.  Could be a bit tricky getting it to where in needs to be but it really works.  My mum was a bad sufferer and she used to eat the yogurt on a daily basis and she said it helped keep it at bay.  There are quite a few dietry things you can do to help avoid it and clear it up if need be. ]]>

He did trawl around trying to find a convenience store that was open for me though bless him!]]>
