So when your twins run out of room and they cant tell if it is the same heart beat or not....wont they do scans to make sure all is well? i was sure i felt this bub move at 13wks but my midwife said it was most likely bowels    what does she know anyway!!

They're actually surprisingly excited. Dad has even bought the gremlins a little pair of first walker shoes each. wow thats cool emma. I never heard their separate heartbeats until after the first scan as 20 weeks as my midwife keep telling me I was further along than I thought (but I knew I wasnt). Then she keep telling me if I was so sure of my dates then I may be having twins.
I used to walk away from those appointments thinking to myself that she didnt know anything and bugger if she wasnt right!! lol

Hey Emma, thats so cool, how exciting for you.
I remember hearing Ryan and Katelyn's heart beats for the first time, its so cool. I remember with Ryan and Katelyn they seemed to stay in the same place as they run out of room to move really quickly, so when ever i went to see my midwife she pretty much found there heart beats in the same place on my tummy.

The bubbles seem to be in two specific places, I guess because they are so small, and the midwife knew it was two different heartbeats because one is in the middle and one is way over to the left, too far apart for it to be just the one. I reckon it might get harder as they get bigger coz the heartbeats get louder so it would be harder to tell if it was two babies, or just the one loud one in a different place. If that makes sense?

at the midwifes today. And it turns out that the little flutters I've been having are the babies for sure.
