my plunket nurse said that *normal* poo for a FF baby should be a bit like toothpaste .

Try offering just some plain cooled boiled water to Ava a couple of times a day- if you can get her used to drinking it now it would be great for stopping her getting bunged up when she start of solids. Sounds pretty normal but it does sound like she is having a little bit of trouble but I wouldnt say constipated....when they first go on formula it can take a bit of a-justing, Caden got a constipated when he first had formula, but his were like hard little pebbles, I gave him 50ml of cooled boiled water with a teaspoon of brown sugar and it worked a treat. I also chaged his formula, Karicare made him bunged up. He is on S26 now and we have had no probs .

Formula poo, is more formed and will be like....firm but mushy, I hope that makes sense!

So many poo questions i know!! Anyway, Ava is on formula the majority of the time now (i express 1-2 times a day) and her poos are the consistency of clay and there isnt much to them.
