Well in Palmy I returned some gumboots that were a gift for my son's birthday they were clearly not well used and poor quality, I did not buy them they refused a refund altogether so I just said well ya can keep them as they are no good to me as they had holes in the sides and when it rained his feet got wet!

If you don't have a receipt they only refund the current selling price, most stores do this. Your bank statement will only show that you spent $180 at the warehouse on that day, it doesn't say what you brought and it could have been anything so I can't see them refunding you on the basis of that.

That really sucks though!!

I bought a Mrs Santa suit on sale at the beginning of the year and when I went to put it on this year it had no belt or hat!!!!!! They are in my bad books at the moment too. We have bought Sam a play house for Xmas which it turns out is missing a few pieces. I only checked because I read a thread on the TM boards about this happening to other people. We had planned to put it up Xmas eve, but don't know if we are going to get the parts in time!

That's annoying and I certainly wouldn't want to buy another tree of the same type!! But how about using the $$ to buy a real tree and stack of decorations? As much as it sucks you can't prove you bought it before the 50% sale started and because of alot of rip-off people they had to toughen up on this rule

GRRRRR

Remember me saying how cool my black fibre optic xmas tree was! Emphasize on the WAS!

After turning it on twice and watching the pretty lights, the 3rd time, poof gone. No more lights. $180 christmas tree, and it only worked twice.

Twice.
I am having trouble getting over it. Twice.

Then to make it worse, i threw out the reciept as it was the last thing i expected to crap put.

We rang the warehouse and they said sweet bring it in and we will swap it. Pulled it down took all the decorations off and took it back.

They are out of stock.
Wont be getting more.

Heres a $90 credit note instead. WTF!

Its a $180 tree. We paid $180 for it.
If it didnt F#%@ out in the first place, i wouldnt have needed the reciept, and i wouldnt have had to take it back and get only half of what we paid for it cos they sell sh*t ass trees!

Funny thing is there was a discounted one there when we went to buy our cos the lights didnt work.
