Oh I had that done as a kid Spirals! And it did work!! Had an appt with my obs today and mentioned the nosebleeds - he was quite alarmed at how many I'm having - so he's 'quarterised' my nose. Depending on where you are at the time, try lying on your side while pinching your nose. Hiya I used to get chronic nosebleeds as a kid - the best thing I found was to keep your head in a normal position and pinch the bottom of your nose as you would when dunking your head under water. Usually will go away within a minute max. Put an ice cold pack on the back of the top of your neck, most nosebleeds are from the head overheating,

that sucks make sure your pinching the top of your nose it makes it stop faster but as for how often have you checked with your doc?

Does anyone have any magic tricks for stopping a nosebleed quickly?

I thought mine had almost stopped - but far from it. I had 7 yesterday and have had 4 so far today. It means spending an excessive amount of time in the loo and I'm sure my co-workers are wondering what I'm up to in there. lol.
