We are with Westpac for our mortgage etc - they offer armed forces benefits. But their service sucks. I used to be with PSIS and found them good, I had term deposit and cheque account with them.
DH is with ASB we'll probably switch to them when we re-fix our mortgage.

Just to add, I spoke with BNZ this morning as we found out we had a $110 transaction charge on an account. When I spoke to them they said they would reverse it after I had explained what we are using the account for and then changed the account to a better one for us over the phone. Big ups to them.

We're with ASB, and I'm happy. They've made one stuff-up that I can remember, and were so great about fixing it that I was very impressed.

Isn't it interesting what a difference customer service makes... I'm personally of the belief that there's not really all that much difference between the main banks, but we had one incident of really shoddy service at ANZ and it really put me off. ASB - Have everything with them including DS account.

We find them great to deal with and never had any problems.

We were and are still with ASB - For all our accounts. Havent had any problems with them and their customer servivce is awesome! Bnz have good accounts with total money (you can get up to 7% on your accounts and if you have a homeloan can make some of your homeloan interest fee) you get up to 10 accounts for a flat fee of $10 a month... which is pretty damn good

Kiwibank for everything. We were with national about 4 years ago and they were shocking. Always had really good service off of kiwibank and they always seem to have the best rates for mortgages and good savings rates as well. We are with Kiwibank & ASB but are looking at putting all accounts with one bank that possibly has low fees and good interest for savings accounts.
