Have you tried asking Change of Address in Puke if they know of any good seamstresses? Seeing as they sell wedding gowns they might know someone.

Ah thats an easy fix. You're damned lucky it's a empire line with cups girl. Yeah thats true, the bust area is quite firm, and I dont want to feel restricted on the day, the whole reason for getting that dress was because it is so comfy and I want to keep it that way lol.

That was before I had Caden, I was about 2 weeks pregnant lol, didnt have a clue I was pregnant! It fit me well a month ago, but not anymore!

Im on the other side of Auckland(waiuku) so I need to find somewhere close to home, pukekohe Im hoping. Take it to Roses on Broadway in Newmarket.

I borrowed my bosses wifes dress for an army ball a few years back. It was pure silk, black with fine ribbon stitched from the top to the bottom. Some designer Anna Sch......something a rather.....

Anyway, the drycleaners mooshed it. I mean they really destroyed it (TLC in glenfield mall). The fabric was puckered, the ribbons were coming apart from the dress and the chule (sp?) underneath was rough and torn where as it used to be soft and floaty. A real mess.

Anyway, The lady at Roses took it home and worked on it for weeks. She gave me back what could have been a brand new gown. The woman who made my dress was awesome! She did the final alterations just before I flew to Wellington for the ceremony.

Thats what I was thinking Jo, that would work quite well because the chiffon over the top covers all that, I just need a "bit" of extra room for my tummy lol. Its a bit snug across my boobs, but that means i dont need to wear a bra and it makes my boobs look good! hehe

My wedding dress DOESNT FIT Its al ready tight across my belly and Im only 7 1/2 weeks along! So there is no way its going to fit when Im 18 weeks pregnant!

Now we have to figure out how to alter it.....its like satin underneath with chiffon stuff over the top, but the chiffon doesnt join at the front(IYKWIM).
I really thought it was going to be ok cos of the empire style but I didnt think about the satin underneath is quite a bit tigher than the chiffon!! *sigh*. So I need to find a good seamstress who can alter it in a way that it wont look crap!
