I was told that you couldn't go on PPl until 6 weeks before your due date (that may have changed in 2 years since I got PPL).</P>]]>

I would think that going on the Sickness Benefit in the meantime would probably help the maternity leave last as long as it needs to - but I don't have any experience here, sorry.]]>

But I'm not sure how the payments are calculated.
