Made worse by the fact there wasn't much I could take for anything. I think I was a lot more careful about not passing on germs and made sure I ate pretty healthy which probably stopped me catching a few of the bugs going around.<br /><br />About the last month I had the most horrid cold that wouldnt budge. Maybe it's because my iron levels are monitored and supplemented as needed, whereas when I'm not pg I wouldn't really have a clue. Also the first couple of months of having a new baby has got to be a shocker for the immune system!]]>

I came down with a terrible flu within days of conceiving Emily!  Also I think that's why my hayfever wasn't as bad as it usually is because my immune system wasn't going into overdrive and producing so much histamine.]]>

So it takes a lot longer to get over them as well, at least for me it did.]]>
