I wasn't sure about quality of each brand so I bought the teeny weeny stuff for NB as it doesn't have to last that long anyway. Lol we had the same problem when our wee man was a nipper. He had all JK, PP and oshkosh due to his grandjparents spoiling him so we personally only had to buy the basics which was not too bad. The other place is TM you can get some stuff still in good nick from there if you have the time to search. Which reminds me i need sort all of little mcploppys stuff and put it on.

Well I might be a bit weird, but when I go into a shop I think there's a fairly good range of baby boys clothes and they're oh so cute - little trousers, shirts and vests. I don't even have a baby boy, but I am hoping to have a little boy one day, so maybe that's why I notice the boys stuff more.

I agree there is lots more girls' stuff than boys, but I find it all gets much of a muchness - too many frills and flowers and everything starts to look the same and a bit OTT.

K-Mart also have a guarantee on their clothes. If they shrink, stretc, fray etc than you can exhange to a similar priced clothing as long as you keep the receipt.

When DS was wee I had to get some bodysuits for him. Got teeny weeny ones, got home washed and dryed them. First time I went to put them on they had already shrunk and strecthed in the wash . I should have taken them back. Still bugs me. The older boys stuff there is probably better materials.

I agree about Teeny Weeny stuff. I do like the Farmers older boys stuff though, and have never had any problems with stretching etc.

But it is probably because girls can also wear skrits and dresses so it gives you more choice.

That's true I guess. There is just so much girls stuff around.

Yep I've noticed it too. I notice it every time we shop, it sucks. The Warehouse is the worst. And yeah agree that K-mart and Baby Factory are best.

That is so true!   3/4's of the shop is girls and the rest boys.

I find teeny weeny clothes stretches out width ways and shrinks lengthways!

I have been lucky had and a few clothes given to me (mainly tops) but have had to buy a few bits and pieces.

I have actually found K-mart is not bad for boys clothes and have found the quality to be really good too (prefer it over farmers). You arent imagining it. I struggled way back when Conor was a baby, and that was 13 years ago!

I found Baby Factory the better of the bunch for boys clothes. I personally dont like the teeny weeny range mainly because a lot of their stuff is crap and stretches like anything... JMHO.

Anyway I like B/Factorys Ricochet range and the tangerine range... good styles, and the material seems better. Has anyone else noticed how LITTLE there is (in way of clothes) for little boys, compared to clothes for little girls?

I remember complaining about this when my son was in the 0000-2 sizes, and I went shopping today for a friend who is pregnant with a little boy, and it's still like that.
It seems to be pink and purple everywhere!

Luckily I find it easy to get my boy clothes now that he is in the 3+ sizes rather than the baby stuff (mostly shop at Farmers)...but I find it strange that there isn't more little boy stuff...mums of baby boys like to shop too!
