Excellent thanks for that!! it looks like it's time to up the BD!!! I did my first ever OPK today (MDS QuickPeak) - I had been getting few funny pains and thought I'd try a test (I typically have a long cycle from 30- 40 days average - sometimes longer, although I have only had AF few times since holly was born)... anyway I'm CD12. The test line came out about as dark as the control line on one side the other side of the line was a bit lighter - so it looked like a thiner line of close to same density IYGWIM... is this positive? does it get darker as you get closer to ov? I have no experience so nothing to compare against....
