I have (and am using) an Avent Isis manual, it's great!

I express usually 1-2 times a day and store the extra milk, but I have used it for all feeds for a few days when my nipples were cracked and painful. RubyG, it will depend on how much strength you have in your hands as you will be pumping for a while with the hand pump. Personally I can't do it manual as I have RSI. Hi Ladies

I am planning on breast feeding (all going well) but want a breast pump to express too.

I have heard the Avent ISIS electric one is good, but because i will only be using occasionally I thought a manualone would be ok?? - I would appreciate any reccomendations and reasons for your thoughts before I purchase one.
