I've found with some tests that as your pee moves up the strip, there's a pink line that precedes it, so when your pee moves over where the 'test' line is, it slows a little and can look like it's giving you a positive - but as the pee moves on it 'takes' the pink line with it.
If that makes sense?

The first one I did showed up after the time limit but the 2nd one did exactly what you said, when the pee moved over it it showed up and quite pink as well. The tests that I've got I actually got from a midwife.

As for the disappearing line - yes it can happen. Sometimes what happens is that as the pee moves across the test strip it activates the dye and you can see a line - especially with the cheaper tests.

I wouldn't get too disheartened just yet though - I looked at your chart and I would say that it's possible you are about 7dpo and if so its too early for it to show up on a test.

ETA: it's also possible you haven't O'd yet - you're only on CD16 so either way its too early for a test.

I don't really know limochick, some of the other girls might have some idea. I would have imagined that if a BFN then a line would not show up at all for a BFP! Sounds promising though!!!!! Hi girls well I did a test last night to see if anything showed (I don't feel preg at all) and it took awhile but there was a faint line dh saw it as well.
