I think I was told that 50 was average. I was under the impression that your levels of progesterone don't vary substaintially throughout the first trimester.

Don't pay any attention to what overseas websites say about progesterone levels, as NZ has a completely different system of measurement.

Good luck!

Your chart looked awesome :)

There isnt a "normal" range for Progesterone, it can vary so much with pregnancy... Mine was lower than that at 4 weeks about 40 I think... I looked high and low for this and both my GP and midwife said that there isnt one. That does sound nice and high though chicken.

Sticky, sticky, sticky vibes hun.

    Author: minik8e
Subject: 23753
Posted: 15 January 2009 at 10:37am

Ok, I had my first blood test done yesterday and have just had the results - HCG 94 and progesterone 60.

The HCG level doesn't bother me - this is the earliest I've had a blood test for pregnancy and the highest level I've ever got which is enough to relieve me, plus it's right on the mark for 13DPO.

But does anyone know what the progesterone level is like for 13 DPO or exactly 4w pregnant? I had a quick search on the net and looked at the Fertility Plus page, and from everything it seems like it's quite high??? Which is a good thing of course!! But I just wanted to know if anyone else had that.

I am feeling so positive and relaxed about this, I'm not stressing about the levels at all. If anything I know that they're not worth stressing over, because I can't change them. I feel good!! (although nauseous, emotional and exhausted)
