Oh no!! I hope he bloody well enjoys himself!!

For Christmas 2003 the in-laws gave DH and I tickets for the BDO the following January.
We were living with them at the time.
MIL likes to keep Christmas cards up for a couple of weeks after Christmas, so I left my ticket in the card, as I knew it would be safe.
A fortnight before the BDO I went to get my ticket to put in my wallet so I wouldn't forget to take it.

BUT......MIL decided to throw out the Christmas cards, FIL decided to burn them as they were taking up too much room in the bin....


....along with my BDO ticket.

Not so funny at the time, but we laugh about it now
