We bought the Sangenic one at half price. Obviously haven't used it as not due till August and it is our first. Though this was an interesting read. I wouldn't have bought the unit if it was full price. We got a packet of four refills from Farmers on special when they had 30% off. Usually the four packs are $65, so $45.

A refill lasts us just under a month, but Jackson is quite a poopy baby. They're lasting longer now that he is bigger.

Baby Factory have Sangenic units (also branded as Tommee Tippee - same thing) for half price at the moment.

Hmmm, I will go against the grain and say that I like ours!

The refills are expensive though, and that is the downside.

For us, we have a very, very warm house which heats up a lot and no garage or appropriate outdoor area for an outside bin, so that is why we got one. I couldn't stand the thought of bad stinky smells.

Yep they blue, you can buy one brand and they are in a small box and you get...50 or maybe 80 cant remember, but then there is the other brand where you get 200 and they are good, they are a bit smaller than the other brand of bag but I can still squeeze 3 sometimes 4 if Im running low lol, into them.

I couldn't even get the hang of the ones at Birthcare, so I was glad I didn't buy one for home. I agree with this - i tend to get about two or three in one nappy sack - and then sling it straight into the wheelie-bin outside (one of the reasons i got a wheelie bin!). Thanks everyone. I was thinking of just using those bags too Sheza...they are the blue ones? And just getting a bucket with a lid and keeping it in the garage (internal access). It was more something DP wanted to get. I think they are a waste of money personally. You don't need one and the refills are expensive. We may be using a combo of disposible and MCN, but haven't fully decided yet.
