He was fine for a while then started again, so Ive put him in his cot for time out with his music, and there is silence now...so he may have fallen asleep.

My best friend's wee boy has just gone through a similar phase. They kept putting it down to "teething" but noone really knew whether it was or not! His two front teeth popped up just after Christmas and he's coincidentally been a MUCH happier boy since then too. He's 9 months now but the grumps started around 6-7 months. (Eeek, should I have told you that?! LOL)

Caden definitly doesnt seem sick, he just gets super grumpy. he is doing is now, rocking on his hands and knees and looking like I am the meanest person in the world lol

I think my son was doing this around that age, but I don't think it lasted long. It seemed to coincide with him becoming very clingy for a month or so as well...then all of a sudden he was back to how he was before.
Was kinda confusing at the time, I didn't know if he was sick (Dr said no) or teething or just going through a phase of sorts.

I dont think its his ears...he is usually pretty cheery at nappy change time, and he will play on the floor quite happily "most" times, but he will start to grizzle, and then he will just flat out have a major tanty, and he will look at me and pull little sad faces and then he will have another scream and it goes on and on.
Ive checked his nappy, Ive made sure he isnt hungry or thirsty Ive given him different toys, put him in his exersaucer, but sometimes nothing will help.
Maybe it has something to do with his teething.....he IS quite clingy at the moment and only seems to want me when he is upset, which is lovely biut so damn tiring .

I hear you on the feeling like crap thing

Yup some kids do start tantrumming (is that a word? lol) from an early age, Jack did (I thought maybe he was sick or something).

But... have you checked his ears out? Does he throw the tantrums when you lie him down or try to change his nappy? It would pay to get them checked out anyway just in case. Also bad teethers can be like that too, for instance my wee one has had about 7-8 hours sleep in the last 24 hours and is still screaming in his bed after an hour but nothing I do is helping. I just have to keep him drugged up poor wee tike.

Other than that, if it IS just tantrums, you can begin things like baby time out or maybe just deliver him to your mums seeing as she's so damn close and then go have a wee lie down lol

OMG! *bangs head against wall*

My son has turned into the biggest tantrum thrower! I just dont know what to with him when he does it. He will scream and cry and go bright red and when i say scream i mean he yells so loud. Its doing my head in! He gets so grumpy.

Please tell me Im not alone in having a nearly 7 month old that does this lol! Sometimes I will try giving him a toy and he just turns his head away and screams louder. I have tried ignoring him, but I just get angrier and angrier and end up picking him up and walking round with him to stop him crying, then when he is calm, i will put him down and he starts up again.
