I think that Watties must add quite a lot of water to get them like that. If he is happy stick with it. Good for you for making your own food Im sure that home made food is better for them. And even if there is no nutritional difference then at least he learns that food doesn't come out of a little jar!

But if he seems fine with the food your making, dont worry, your food is probably alot nicer than the pottles of food!
Im too lazy to make my own right now lol. i really should but Caden isnt THAT fussed on solids yet.

I've found some of the little cans pretty runny too. I found that because Ollie started solids around five months he has been coping with lumpy things pretty well. I'm assuming your boy's experience with solids means he can handle mashed stuff too. I wouldn't worry unless he is struggling to cope with things in his mouth or getting constipated.

I've been making my own which he has loved but to give me an idea of how much he should be eating i brought one pottle of watties. When I tipped it into his bowl for lunch I was surprised how runny and thin it was. I have taken to just mashing his food because he hasn't shown any avoidencev to it this way BUT is it okay on his digestive system?????Bit worried.
