Just to throw a spanner in the works, my specialist at FA said that there is no position that makes it easier for the sperm to reach its target. And re the lying with your legs up thing, when the man ejaculates, that alone gets enough sperm in the right place to do their thing if the egg is ready to go. She said that by the time you stick your legs up the sperm that is going to have any chance of fertilizing an egg will already be where it needs to be. (please excuse my very technical terms...)

yep "deep penetration" and orgasims are recommended for ttc a boy! The "O" creates more alkaline conditions to help those boy sperm along.

you can do pelvic floor exercises to get "it" out - helps to get rid of it so you don't confuse it with CM if you are monitoring that.

Yes Jane that's what Dr Shettles says too.. apparently it increases your chances of conceiving a boy as the y sperm gets 'there' quicker if you 'O'. Just like the legs up the wall thing, supposed to get it there quicker.

It's recommended you staying lying down (if that's the position you were in ) for 20 mins unless you have a history of UTI's.

For Jack, and this is TMI, we did a lot of *ahem* doggy (don't ask me why) and when we conceived this one it was a lot of missionary as we were having a wee game of trying to conceive a girl. Bahaha .. I recall doing that when Issy was late .. as apparently the sperm does "something" to help bring on labour.
