Well, at least he's covered his ass and told you every possible worst case senario! Some doctors seem gifted at making you feel like going "My baby/ies will be fine! " and walking out!

YAY Maya i guess they only tell you that stuff so ur prepared and knew it was a possiblity but in saying that since you know nothing wrong will happen

And he was so full of doom and gloom! It was so depressing. He was going on about all the negative stuff that can happen: twin to twin transfusion, premature labour, late m/c, gest diabetes blah blah blah. I know it's his job, but I am enough of a nutter to start with, I don't need to know about all the things that COULD go wrong!

On the plus side, he has a portable scanner so I got to see the gremlins, and am having a scan on Wed to check growth and he said they *might* be able to tell the gender. At 14 1/2 weeks? Unlikely me thinks, but however, I'll ask anyway... Then I have another scan at 17 weeks, and then my 4d anatomy scan at 19 weeks. My poor babies are going to be so exposed!
