You can pick them up for under $10. To start with its good to use a food reward as well as the clicker and then gradually reduce the food treats as the pup responds to the behavior traning with the end goal being that you should only need the clicker.

Good luck and the pup is very cute

I love little poodles.

I haven't tried clicker training but I used to sell a lot of clickers when I worked in a pet shop. I have heard lots of great stories about them.

ETA I remember a couple who had a dog who would simply get 'in the zone' and not come back when called on the farm. They used the clicker and it worked within days, they could yell and whistle as much as they pleased but one click was all the dog would come back for.

Edited by Chickoin

We did our sessions with a dog trainer so she taught us (and the dogs) what to do. We don't need the clickers anymore and the one boxer we have left is very obedient with the commands we taught him
