We usually do a hot wash with our fuzzis. Our machine starts off with a hot wash and rinses in cold after that. I only have Fuzzis so i have just checked the FuzziBunz website and it says:
Washing/Drying your FuzziBunz™:
First, run a cold rinse or soak cycle with no detergent.

Second, run a hot cycle with detergent. Do not use bleach.

Third, if your hot wash is not automatically followed by a cold rinse, run a cold rinse cycle. This step only necessary with a particularly dirty load.

Tumble dry the diapers in dryer on low or hang to dry. Do not use fabric softener or pure soap*. Never dry on high heat.

I usually cold rinse and then warm wash. If they are yucky or every few months I hot wash them.

The only time I've done a hot wash was when I was stripping my nappies, I'm not sure what regular hot washes would do to the long-term wear of your nappies. Are these ok for nappies??? And are they good for nappies???

I now have free hot water (turned my hot water off at the switch board and now heating it with the chippy - free wood) so thought I might try a hot wash but want to make sure it is good and ok for the nappies.
