I have brought one of those clip-on carrycots second hand. I plan on buying a new mattress for it but was wondering if you had any ideas on how to clean the padded lining and zip off cover? I thought maybe I could chuck the cover in the wash but then the canvas colour might run? and thought maybe I could hire a rug doctor to clean the inside but don't like the idea of all those chemicals!
