Ashleigh Grace sounds lovely! (my girl that three pregnancies in a row has turned out to be a boy was going to be Caitlyn Grace - so I've had a Sean, Andrew and now s/he is going to be a Sam ....maybe I can call him Caitlyn as a nickname? hehe)

Yes if we had a reason to go with one way or the other it would probably make it easier to decide!! I think I might have persueded hubby on "my" spelling - Ashleigh - as he said last night that if we go with that spelling then he gets to pick the spelling for the next child!! Kelly!! hahahaha we'll probably end up with Ashlee Jayde! We've had that since day half hehe thats funny. And frantic, we had Ashlee Kate until I said it out loud and immediately thought of the Olsen twins! Mary Kate and Ashley haha so that went out the window very fast.

We've gone with the Lee ending because my mum's middle name is Lee and my sister is Haylee so we love the idea of carrying that on for another generation.

Funny, I suggested Ashleigh Jade to hubby but Jade is the daughters name of someone we know and it has put him off it!! no way Kelly! Baalamb too! Actually DH is the one that loves the name the most - sure I will share - after all i know yours now LOL!
Our list is like this:
1. Brenna
2. Mikah (pronouced mee-ka)
3. Ashlee

At the moment I am leaning towards Mikah and DH is leaning towards Brenna...

Have a look on a rack of personalised cards/stickers/pens and see what the common spelling is there. I have one of those spell either way names - Maree - and used to alway get annoyed that I could only get Marie stuff. To make it worse my maiden name was impossible to spell so I always had to spell both names out to everyone. Thankfully I married someone with a really simple surname - I didn't realise how good it was until I stopped having to spell things out everytime someone needed to write my name.

Personally I prefer Ashlee or Ashley... Sometimes it's nice to keep things simple. Often people try to fancy names up by spelling it differently, but the name is still just as nice when spelt more like it sounds.

This is my just opinion based on the fact I have an unusual name that I have always had to spell for people all my life. I have always wished it was more straight forward.

OMG Kelly that name is on our short list too LOL! Hubby and I have found a name for our little girl that we both really like - not totally sure that we'll use it yet - but we are disagreeing on the spelling.
