It's a pain because if you think you're done bleeding and then go to feed, all of a sudden you feel it start up but you've just latched the baby on!! Anyway, any kind of light walking for the first 8 weeks is enough to start it up even if you have had 48 hours clear. It's a good thing to clean out naturally but take it easy, all the same]]>

My uterus took 8 or so weeks to contract fully so there was still sporadic bleeds.]]>

But by 6 weeks It was pretty much finished, just some icky yellow discharge for a while.<br /><br />My MW said that after a C Section this can happen and bleeing can be quite random, epecially if you do too much, i found if I tried to do housework or something I would bleed red again for a while.<br /><br />]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=18013">peanut butter</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 24293<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 04 February 2009 at 3:38pm<br /><br /><P>TMI question about bleeding.&nbsp;&nbsp; I was told it should get less and less and change from bright red to brown to yellow/clear.&nbsp; Mine has stepped up a notch the last couple of days and gone from nothing at all except after a feed to bright red again and leaking out more than just after feeding.&nbsp;&nbsp; I feel ok but we did have concerns as I thought I had a UTI a week ago as I was sore "down there" and felt like crap.&nbsp; but my urine test came back completely clear.&nbsp; My MW also did a vaginal swab but that came back inconclusive...something was growing but they didnt know what and all my symptoms have cleared.&nbsp;&nbsp; She was concerned as my discharge notes said I had ragged membranes (first Ihad heard of this as my birth notes say complete placenta).&nbsp; so she is on the look out for retained membranes etc and inc in bleedng is a sign.&nbsp; Anyone shed any light on this???</P>]]>
