Sorry im not much help but my son does that also.... He's only 8wks old and he wont sleep any other way apart from on his tummy & without a doubt whenever we hear him snuffling and snorting sure enough his head is right up against the top bars of his cot.... I always place him down near the bottom of his cot when he goes to sleep.... when you get an answer please let me know LOL....

We are currently using a wedge and safety sleep, plus Heidi is swaddled. She currently sleeps really well. Sleeping on their sides is recommended by some, and I have been advised that it will help with reflux.

I will be trying not to use the SafeTsleep, for the reason stated above, can be hard to get them use to sleeping without it.

Arianne loves sleeping on her side, I can get her to sleep easier on her side then on her back.

Silly question - how do you use the wedge? We brought one (the type with the two triangle wedges) But I have no idea how its supposed to work. When can you use it from? ie what age?

We used a side sleeper for Dominic as he hated the wedge and just wriggled until he rolled over the top. And we use a wedge for Isobelle because she hates the side sleeper. Isobelle would be happy without anything but we have to sleep her on her side because she spills constantly during her sleeps.

Caden is a very wriggly baby, he rolls and rolls and rolls around his cot lol, he is always on his hands and knees rocking or smooshing his face onto his mattress and sticking his bum in the air, he is terrible.

He was in a safe t sleep but we ditched that cos he started to roll and would get stuck, now he sleeps whatever way he wants. We have a bumper pad around his cot, but it doesnt go across where the bar lifts up and down, so I sometiems weave a thick blanket through the bars, that helps a bit.

No - may only leave a very temporary red patch or the slightest dent in the skin which comes out after an hour or two.

I use a sleep wedge but have found that for one of my boys, he just wiggles up out of it and then sideways across his cot - he is happier not using it. I feel your pain! As we speak, Daniel is up on his hands and knees in his cot. It took about 3 weeks before he remembered he can roll back, though he only remembers half the time.

His cot is fully bolstered - we've rolled up polarfleece blankets - 2 lengthwise and 2 widthwise, and have one on each side of the cot. i am having the same problem atm. My wee boy sleeps on his tummy usually (oooo bad mother) but now rolls onto his back which he can't seem to fall asleep on. Also does it in his sleep and hits his head against the bars and wakes himself up. I am thinking of putting bumpers in. We've got the same prob & decided to put up a cot bumper (even though you're not meant to before 1 year) so he doesn't get his legs & arms caught inbetween them. It may take a few nights but she would probably get used to sleeping with head against bars. It would take her a few nights to get used to a safety sleep too. Oh, yes .. Isabelle can roll over in hers .... she is a tummy sleeper so we leave it lose enough so she can roll, but she cant stand up IYKWIM

We use a safety sleep (and have done since she could roll over and stand up).

Does anyone have a solution to stop baby rolling over?

Has anyone used a safety wrap or a wedge successfully?

My hubby and I were up out of bed about 6-7 times in the space of 1/2 an hour in the wee hours of this morning ... *groan*
