These are great! So interesting to read random things about people!

1. I hate my name. I would never give any of my kids a unisex name.
2. My favourite wine is St Clair Wairau Reserve Sauvignon Blanc
3. I have visited 25 countries, some VERY briefly
4. I can't play any musical instruments
5. I also can't sing in tune!
6. I got straight A's in my final year at university
7. I work for a bank
8. Hokey Pokey is my favourite icecream
9. My husband and I have known each other since we were 14
10. I have the ugliest feet I have ever seen
11. I flew a small plane solo when I was 17
12. I wish I had spent more money on my wedding dress
13. I REALLY want this house that is already under offer :o(

Well Kate because i feel so priviledged to be mentioned in your 25 things i will have to indulge you a little.

It was about 5 years ago and i was walking to meet a guy at around midnight...we were going to meet halfway and then go back to his place (naughty naughty) we met just by this bridge and he was on his bike and said to me that he nearly ran over some guy lying on the footpath. We went back over the bridge and saw this guy and then heard a car door close right next to him so kept going figuring he was drunk and his mates had kicked him outta the car. Hmmmm not quite.... the next day i was watching the news and i saw that a man had been murdered and it was the guy we saw on the ground. It still to this day makes me feel horrible that i didnt stop and try to do something especially as the police didnt find him till 6 hours later... but i did what i could and went straight to the police and gave a statement, and the car i saw was a big lead in the case. 1. I work with children, but would rather work with animals.
2. I really want to live overseas but I would never be a be to leave my dog.
3. I'm quietly scared the I won't have time for my dog once baby comes.
4. I still can't believe I am pegnant. Like really CAN NOT BELEIEVE IT!
5. I'm concerned I love my dog too much.
6. I worry my baby will be hooked on chocolate.
7. I generally put on a few kg's between february and may while cream eggs are out.
8. i went to 9 schools.
9. By the time I finished highschool I had lived in 12 houses and 2 boarding schools.
10. I lived in Brunei for 5 years.
11. I'm really over the question...'so, what was it like living in Brunei?"
12. I have seen more of Asia than New Zealalnd.
13. My DF and I flatted together for 3 months before 'hooking up'. Boy were we mocked.
14. I knew DF was the one from the time I met him.
15. I was both expelled and suspended in highschool. I am now a teacher.
16. I will NEVER consume alcoIhol again. MS for me was too much like being hungover, I will never intentionally make myself feel like that again.
17. As of today I own a house, but concered I won't be able to pay for it.
18. I think xmas is overated, my df and I don't buy presents as that's not really what it is about...and It's a lot cheaper.
19. Number 18 is likely to change when we have our own family.
20. I love clothes and shoe shopping. But right now I couldn't care less what I wear and want to spend every penny on my baby.
21. I wish I could sing. I would enter Idol, even though I don't enjoy watching it.
22. The thing I most regret is giving up ballet, I was pretty talented.
23. I really want to know more about Bex finding a dead body.
24. I could count on one hand the amont of times I have made a bed properly.
25. 2. My son is truly the biggest blessing I've ever received

19. My heart was broken when i lost my baby 2 months ago to miscarriage.

21. My favourite food is Kapiti Herb and Garlic cheese but i couldnt eat it when i was pregnant (made me sick)
22. My favourite magazines are That's Life and Lucky Break (sometimes i do the puzzles sometimes not)
23. This is the age i will be turning in one month and 3 days!!!!!
24. I am the only one out of my close friends who doesnt have children

I have yet to get around to this on facebook .. maybe I'll just cut & paste

1. I met my DH at work drinks in 2001.
2. I hate bad spelling, grammar and punctuation but my own spelling. grammar and punctuation is getting worse the longer I live in Asia (or perhaps it's just relative to the length of time I have been out of 'school'?)
3. I have a brother and a sister.
4. I studied accounting and law at university but since I left have worked as a kindy teacher and nanny because teaching pays better.
5. I lived in Christchurch until I was 18.
6. Since 2001 I've lived in Wellington, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Singapore.
7. I want to move 'home' eventually but have no idea where that is any more!
8. When random people ask how old Callum is (or make a guess), I just go along with whatever they guess because I can't be bothered with the confused looks when I say "2 months old" and then explaining that he was 2 months early.
9. My favourite chocolate is Green & Blacks Maya Gold.
10. DH just realised on the weekend that it costs $6/250gm block
11. I get really annoyed with people who rush into the lifts in shopping malls when there are people waiting with strollers OR IN WHEELCHAIRS!
12. I am even more annoyed that there is no lift at the Orchard Rd train station so I have to get a cab whenever I go to Orchard Rd.
13. I can't wait for my Mum to arrive this Saturday.
14. I also can't wait to get my hair cut, eyebrows shaped and bikini waxed once she gets here and I have a babysitter during the day!
15. I really miss my Dad and am sad that he can't afford to come to Singapore to meet his first grandchild.
16. I want four kids but DH only wants two. At the moment I think he actually thinks this one is MORE than enough.
17. I usually think of witty comebacks the following day and then spend the whole day imagining myself saying them.
18. I hate confrontation.
19. I hate using those hot air hand dryers in public toilets and carry my own packet of tissues in case there's no paper towels.

21. I wish our families weren't so spread out across NZ and Australia - might make it easier to choose where to move back to!
22. I am looking forward to our holiday in Bali in June.
23. I really need to arrange for the aircon to be serviced and for a new cleaner but I hate dealing with people over the phone so have been putting it off.

sorry if this makes anyone upset. it sure made me very upset.

they pretty much only exist through inbreeding. and for every normal looking white tiger you may see in a zoo there is about 100more being killed because they are so deformed.

1. baby has hiccups right now
2. i made fudge at 11.30ish last night to satisfy my craving
3. i cant handle the heat (AT ALL) i prefer the cold
4. im the first generation in my family born in NZ
5. i lived in the UK for 5years.
6. moved back to NZ nearly 5years ago.
7. i want to get another tattoo
8. i HATE coffee, and i dont like coke
9. im not into reality tv shows, except the start of american idol (cos its funny)
10. im the first out of all my cousins to do a lot of things. get my liscence, have a baby, go to polytech and come out with certificates, travel round the world
11. i came top of my class in my course last year with the most credits
12. i was homeschooled for most of my primary school years
13. i never went to college
14. im very shy and dont make friends easily
15. my dad lives 2mins round the corner from me and wont even try get in contact with me. he also has forgotten where i live
16. im going to be a single mum
17. im not really into music, i sooo perfer movies and tv
18. my mum is the best, she is always there when i need her
19. im really nervous about giving birth and breastfeeding

1. I spent last night driving round in a 1985 Lincoln limo
2. I have to listen to music really loud while I'm in the shower
3. We have 5 frogs named after Thomas the tank engine and the fat controller really is the fattest one
4. I have to have a woollen blanket on my bed to rub between my toes or I don't sleep very well.
5. Jack is 3 years 1 month and me and Ben have been together 3 years and 10.5 months
6. I hate texting
7. I hate talking on the phone even more
8. I am so happy with my life right now I wouldn't want to be anyone but me
9. I have the same birthday as baby spice but shes a few years older than me
10. At high school I used to say I wanted a boy with brown hair and then a girl with blonde and thats what I have.
11. I would love another baby in a few years but I don't think it would happen.
12. I would like to donate eggs at some point
13. I'm addicted to the earths children series at the moment. I have named my parents ducks Ayla, Jondalar, Jetamio and Thonolan.

15. I would love to take my kids travelling for a year before they hit high school

1. I was born in Switzerland before moving to Papua New Guinea for 9 monhs when I was 3 months old.

2. I'm a chocoholic - it's what I eat after a session at the gym.

3. I'm the youngest of 4 girls. One full sister, two step-sisters.

4. I grew up in Wellington and I miss it every day.

5. I have a tattoo of a gecko on my left hip - my favourite creature.

6. Hannah is my most favourite person, DH trailing VERY closely behind.

7. My sister is my best friend. I can't go a day without talking to her.

I have an irrational fear of spiders and moths, and freak out when they are near me.
I met my DH in high school... we knew each other for 5 years before we started dating.
My DH was one of my brother's best friends and I "stole" him... he is 2 years younger than me.
I never wanted to get pregnant again after having Chloe... but now I'm really looking forward to having our new wee boy join our family.
I have no contact with my Father.
I feel really blessed to have an amazing family, despite all of their disfunctionalities (I'm sure that's a word, lol).
I have seen DH cry twice, and I hated it, it broke my heart both times.
I think giraffes and zebras are the most awesome and random animals.
I play the piano... not very well, but I love playing.
I like painting and drawing.
I've always been a science geek.
Two people close to me have committed suicide and it really affected me both times.
I had my heart broken by my "first love" when I was seventeen... we never officially "dated" but stuff happened. But now I'm so happy it never worked out, or I wouldn't have been with DH now.
I still class DH has my first and only boyfriend, despite the last list item.
I have a butterfly tattoo on my lower back, with my baptism date on it.
I like hanging out washing, most days. Not so much getting it in or folding it, though.
I can't wait to return to study and to finally earn money. But I still enjoy being at home with Chloe atm.
I don't know how I will cope with 2 kids.
I find my DH most sexy and adorable when he's having fun with Chloe or doing something nice for other people.
I don't think I will ever get back to my teeny pre-pregnancy size... I just don't think it's possible.
I love soccer.
If I had to pick someone famous to look up to, I would pick Mother Theresa.
I like dissecting cadavers.
I take way too many photos of everything.
Even though I never thought I would get married, I fully expect DH and I to still be together until the very end. I can't comprehend the possibility that it might not happen. I just have this feeling that it will work out and the thought that it has a chance of failing just doesn't make any sense to me.

1. I am an avid watcher of television and movies. So much so, that when things happen around me in real life, I will often associate these events or even just words with certain tv shows (often of the Simpsons) or movies I have seen. I don't generally share these thoughts with people as they occur, as they usually "haven't seen that episode" and an uncomfortable silence follows... My brother would be the exception to this as he does it too.

2. On the topic of tv, I got the idea for both of my daughters names this way. My first born was named from years of watching "Whose the boss?" and always liking Alyssa Milano's name. Kayla was decided while watching an episode of "Life of Ryan"..this was the name of his girlfriend.

3. My mother is Japanese and my father is Irish. I have always maintained that these are the reasons why I am a terrible driver and have a short temper.

4. Over the years I have won a good number of prizes from various competitions... I will pretty much enter anything that isn't too much hassel i.e. no essays involved. The biggest prizes were a trip for 2 to Fiji a few years ago, and last year a prize package containing a DVD player, 10 board games and 12 DVD's (this was also the last thing I won).

5. I used to speak fluent Japanese and no English as a child, however once I was at school and realised it was too different to speak Japanese, I refused to do so, even though my mum tried to keep it going. Of course I'm kicking myself now for being a stubborn little bitch as I can't remember it anymore.

6. As a child, my family once had 12 cats in the house..this was because 2 of our cats had kittens. Mum was happy to whittle it down to 6 by giving half of them away.

7. Unlike most little girls, I played with insects..making them little homes in ice cream containers with holes punched in glad wrap over the top. I also remember searching the backyard with my brother for cicadas to take inside and attach to the net curtains. By the time mum got home, there were probably about 50 of them sitting there chirping away in the lounge.

8. I don't usually participate in movie nights or movie outings with my girlfriends as they all love chick flicks and apparently I have a "mans taste in movies". My husband appreciates my taste in movies though.

9. I am allergic to aspirin and bee stings. Taking aspirin for me will result in anaphylactic shock, which I obviously experienced when I found out I was allergic. My eyes bulged out of my head like those funny goldfish. Thank goodness I'm not allergic to any food items...now that would suck.

10. When I was a teenager I won a beauty pageant at a caravan park. This was an embarassing situation as my friend whom I was holidaying with at the time, had spent some time preparing for the event. Her mother had made a lovely outfit, and she spent the morning doing hair and makeup while I waited to go and watch her. When the show was about to start, one of the judged pulled me up from my seat and told me to get on stage to join in (obviously a very casual thing, as it was a caravan park after all). I had no intention of entering so was the only girl on stage with shabby shorts and tshirt. My friend never invited me to holiday with them again after that.

11. I got married in 2005 in Las Vegas at the Little White Wedding Chapel.. No, not the drive thru or Elvis wedding packages. The backdrop for the photos taken there contain plastic flowers and a plastic horse. We forked out and got some professional photos taken at the hotel we stayed at though, so it's not all bad.

12. Whenever I used to spend hours on the computer playing the Sims, I used to wish I could also fast forward things when back in the real world. Also wished I could rail jump to get around thanks to Quake.

13. Would love to make lots of money from a brilliant web based business that no-one has thought of before. I have some ideas but not sure if I have the motivation to see it through.

14. I have a serious addiction to RJ's raspberry bullets. Luckily not many of my local shops sell them so I can't always indulge.

15. Throughout my life I have had dreams which have come true sometimes years after I have had them. I end up with a serious case of deja vu and then realise that I had already been in the same situation, but at the time the people weren't clear until that moment. No, I'm not a crackpot. I just remember my dreams most of the time.

16. Now that my family is complete (2 kids), I really must try and lose all the extra weight. I didn't feel it was worth trying after the first kid as I was only going to put on weight again. In hindsight, it still would have been worth it.

17. Being a dimple owner myself, I have a theory about people with dimples which isn't always correct, but just guessing for fun has been correct most of the time so far. Whenever I meet someone with deep dimples in their cheeks, they often have birthdays around the same months of June/July or November/December (yeah, ok so it's 1/3 of the year right there)...so I try and start with Gemini or Scorpio..you get the picture.. Me. I'm a Scorpio..

18. I purchased my first house on my own when I was 25. I'm still thankful to this day that I had arranged a property agreement with my ex before it turned to sh*t.

19. I can't wait for the day when my husband and I can take the kids to Disneyland for a family holiday. Definitely won't do it until they are in double digit ages because I have seen too many miserable little ones at Disneyland, and wonder why the parents bothered. They probably won't remember it anyway.

20. My secret shame is that I watch Home and Away. I guess it's not a secret anymore.

21. The first scary movie I ever saw was "The Incredible Melting Man" and I was 8. I wasn't scared.

22. As a child I often had dreams that the world was full of Vampires and I was the only one not converted. They were never scary dreams though, cause I love horrors.

23. The first cassette tape I ever purchased was Johnny Hates Jazz. "Yeah you're givin' me, givin' me, nothing but shattered dreams, shattered dreams"... Damn..now that song is in my head.

24. My birthday is on the same day as Gordon Ramsay (except 10 years younger). I love to watch his shows and see people cry.

25. I'm pretty sure no-one can be bothered reading all 25 of my randoms.. but I did it anyway :)

Wow random things.

1. I've had a crush on DF since I was 16.
2, I miss the puppy I got with my ex.
3. I'm scared sh**less about having these babies.
4. DF keeps finding reasons to not give up smoking and it annoys me.
5. My partner's family is absolutely amazing and without their support I probably would have lost my mind by now.
6. I have 5 siblings, 13 nieces and nephews and 1 great-niece.
7. I really want lamb for tea.
8. I'm not looking forward to my hen's night.
9. Mum ran over my favourite cat Ginger (and it devastated her).
10. I'm a daddy's girl.
11. I hate Jacka$$.
12. I would love to go back to work part-time after these babies are born, or study instead of working.
13. I can't wait until we start our renovations.
14. We have rats in our ceiling that won't go away no matter how much bait we put down.

1. I’m meant to be helping DH format his thesis at the moment (but I’m having a break :)
2. I like the new fruju sorbet iceblocks
3. I’m going to America on the 28th for a month
4. I don’t know how to use a lawn mower, so my sister’s boyfriend just mowed my lawn for me (DH is too busy with the thesis)
5. In exactly nine days, the thesis will go to the binders and I can forget about it
6. I feel like pizza for tea, but also have perfectly good leftovers which I should (and probably will) eat instead
7. DH has grown a beard. I like the look but don’t like kissing him as much now!
8. I’m sunburnt
9. I grew cherry tomatoes (lots of different kinds) from seed this year, and now we’ve got buckets of them.

11. I have blonde, curly hair. It’s grown recently – when it’s straightened I can nearly sit on it

2.I secretly hope its going to change (I couldn't stand for her to get teased)
3. I love butterflies - but don't have enough of a garden to attract any

4. Im 5 foot and 1 and a half inch. The half inch matters!!
5. I adore cadbury tiramisu chocolate - and sit down to eat an entire kingsize block on my own once a fortnight.

1. My husband & my daughter are my dreams come true. I'm so stoked to have my wee family.
2. Friends rock my world. People make life what it should be.

5.I have a one track mind when I want to do something. However that something can change from day to day
6.I love orange and it all started with a plaster cast

Heres one i prepared earlier

1. I like to say I'm 5ft but to be honest I think I think I am shorter

2. My favourite colour is green (and I hate red)

3. I can get from one end of my house to the other in 10 steps (and I have short legs)

4. I don't like lollies, fizzy drinks, pancakes, doughnuts - they make me sick.

5. I have never broken a bone although I have dislocated my elbow twice.

6. I have had my learners license for 7 years now....

7. I am addicted to taking photos!

8. I make big babies - and make it look easy getting them out.

9. I know all the words to Hi-5

10. I wish I could cook better!

11. This last week I have become the shortest in my family, I think I am shrinking.

12. I got married at 18 - 6 months after meeting Mark and 6 months before Keira was born. And we are still really happy!

13. I spend way more money on the girls clothes thank I do on my own.
