This isn't the best pic, but this is 28 weeks with lil miss, you can see the dent in the middle...

And this is 30-odd weeks with the gremlins, you can see the funny shape...

And my square belly at 36/5 just before they were born...

I got some good comfy clothes from PP (outlet store in Westgate), some Mummy Tummys jeans that came right up over my bump, and some good solid pieces from Kmart. I bought lots of comfy tunic style tops from Warehouse too.

I never lost the 'second stomach' with Maya or lil miss, I did with the gremlins but my bump was still kind of square, like SimSams in shape but muuuuuch bigger

. I was really bummed about it with Maya coz I never really looked pregnant till I was full term but it bothered me less with lil miss, maybe coz I got to have the big bump with the gremlins.

As for maternity clothes, my best buy was a pair of sz 18 JK bootlegs that were the only pair of pants that still fitted me by the time the gremlins were born, they fit great and were nice and comfy. I also loved my PP jeans, also a sz 18 and I was more like a 20 at the time I got preg. I have just brought a few pieces of plus size (16) clothing from places like Farmers and Glassons.
We are lucky that most of the styles lend themselves to maternity clothing at the moment. I was kinda wondering the same thing, I am size 16 (am tall) but can't fit my normal clothes as my pants are tight round my stomach now, so I wear skirts but did buy some maternity cargos from the warehouse which you can adjust the sides to suit as they have an elastic band and are so comfy.

My partner also wants to do pregnancy portraits later on, and Im more worried bout the marks on my belly (if they are starting now, hate to see what they will look like in a few months time!) than my stomach size as my boobs are huge and are more of a distraction hehe.

I weighed 81.5 kg pre pregnancy and I am definately looking pregnant now at 31 weeks. If you see my bump naked though you can see the wobbly bit at the bottom of it... that bums me out.

I just push is out of the way for naked belly shots LOL.

As for growth spurts my bub had a massive growth spurt at around 24 weeks and was measuring 26 weeks but it has slowed down and seems to be back in line now. Hey there, my friend is the same, she didn't really start to be noticeable pregnant till this year, over 30 weeks, but it's different for everyone. I wouldn't worry about it though. Just make some off hand remarks about pregnancy brain and the "clumsy pregnant lady" and you might find people might have thought you were preg but too scared to comment

sorry I forgot to say that Im 37wks in the photo and this is the 1st one I have taken and the shape being one of the reasons so you still have time - I did dream about having that beautifully shaped baby belly but the want (and age need) came before worrying about losing weight. Your baby will move up as it gets bigger and I'm sure it will fill out whatever space is available. Hi Sixpence - I was really worried that I would just look FAT and not pregnant, but I did eventually look pregnant! Before getting pregnant I was a size 18/20/22 - so the risk for me was that I would just look like a whale the whole time...

Here are some pics taken when I was 32 weeks - I had a strange shaped bump (kind of square) but dont think I looked too bad...

(Excuse the delightful stretch marks!)

I am sure that you will wake up one day and realise that you have a beautiful bump!

I know exactly what you mean - I couldn't wait to get rid of the 'second stomach' look and have a proper rounded preggy belly. Alas, at 31 weeks that still hasn't happened, although the crease is becoming a bit less noticable.
My baby was lying transverse (across my lower stomach) which I don't think helped. Sixpence - I am 25 weeks and have exactly the same thing. It is starting to be less noticeable - but no chance of my belly button popping out at this stage!! lol A friend of mine did fill out her bump more when she was about 34 weeks ish. Hi ladies, I am just wondering whether someone has is experienced or is experiencing the same as me.
I am currently 29 weeks pregnant and weighed about 85 kgs (size 14 - 16) prior to pregnancy. My stomach has never been picture perfect due to various gyne surgery's and I have always had a pesky middle roll on my stomach that has left a crease.
I am concerned now that I am pregnant that the crease is not disappearing and the baby (boy) is sitting so low. Does the crease disappear so I can have a beautiful pregnant belly or just multiple rolls!
If anyone is strange like me
