omg did you see the buggy that tipped back scary stuff.
I reakon that the only thing wrog with the sport in the brake, i dont have one but am getting one for #2, if you have issue with the brake get a dash they are mostly  the same. i hardly use the brake on my buggy now so its not an issue, and that apple green graffti MMMMMMM

i had a push of a old mountain buggy today, i admit i did like it as it was very light and the  handle was low down compared to my buggy (a crappy one form BC) and im a shorty so that matters.

I have looked at all the buggys mentioned and out of all of them liked the Babyjogger city classic the best, I thought it compared better with the others reviewed than the city elite. I have found in the past the size and shape of buggys folded up for me is a big issue, at 5'2 lifting them in and out of cars can be hard. they are all pretty much a muchness when you are using them though. I was dissapointed with it. I would have liked to have seen some 4 wheelers on there as well. Also there was no mention of size when folded down, ease of putting it up and taking down i think they touched briefly on one model witht he taking down.
I understand that p & t are planning on bringing out a 4 wheel one (not the twin one).

linda, even though Im a P&T convert, if I was going to get an actual double buggy (as opposed to an inline), I would go for the MB.

They are slightly bigger but they just seem more sturdy to me (and they look awesomely comfy for the babies lol).

As our kiddies will have a year and a half between them an inline suits us perfectly and hence sticking with the P&T as MB dont do a kiddie seat.

I think it was a bad review...didn't give each of the buggies enough time to show there good and bad points. Plus what did the base the overall winner on?

The mums first choice was the MB...so why was Phil and Teds the overall winnder...was it because they were slightly cheaper? Had more accessories?

DH and I are having discussions on this at he moment but we are looking for a double buggy. DH wants the P&T's and I want the MB so we were both keen to watch it. DH was very happy with P&T's being the overall winner but I also think that the mothers rated MB as there winner so that has to also count as something. The sport is better if you live in urban areas. We got the sport coz we live semi rural and it was more rugged for where we are. It does the toddler seat too

lilfatty - my DH liked the Vibe because of the way it looked too! But I did think the brake on the handle was a great idea. And I like the fact that you can add the toddler seat for number 2.

weegee - thanks for the tip on the product reviews. I never thought to look in there. I think the hard thing is I don't really know what features I need to look for which is what makes it all the more confusing! I guess I just need to go in and talk to someone and they'll fill me in.

I was surprised too that the most expensive one (the baby jogger or something?!) seemed to tip so easily. I love my sport buggy. I must be a lot stronger than other people that have them coz I don't have any problem with the brake. I like the brake emchanism as when its locked i know it is. the vibe i thought was real bulky and the hand brake i thought could be not as safe coz theres more to go wrong. But yay for the P&T sport. I don't like P&T's at all (mainly because I reckon they feel too light plus the issue with the brake as per the review on TV) but that's what I picked in the baby on the move competition because I knew it would win. I love my MB but I've got the old type Urban that I bought 5 years ago.

I was seriously disappointed, thought they might have mixed it up a little - they chose 4 similar buggies of a similar price range, of course they were going to be much of a muchness. Gah.

I preferred the Vibe over the other P&T models .. but you should go in and check them out.

I don't think there was anything shocking at all. They just rated them and asked four mums what they preferred and P & T came out on top over all.

So, are P & T the best overall? I've been looking at the Vibe as well but don't really know what I'm looking for but have generally heard good things about this brand. Basically the P&T Sport came out on top .. followed by MB then the Baby Jogger (if I recall correctly).
