For snacks, last time I had muffin bake bars to give me a sugary lift when I needed more energy. Don't know what I'll do this time. Probably a pack of biscuits and a pack of crackers (I am gluten intolerant so if I get hungry, I won't be able to have the standard toast etc). Ooo and I'm not into tea/coffee so I might pack some hot chocolate powder too. (Can't have milo either and can't remember what they have available at the hospital these days).

I pack my bag when I get the urge to and my babies arrived within a week of that feeling. So if its on your mind I suggest doing it.
Even though you are planning to go home pack everything that is suggested as you never know how things will go and you don't want to get caught out. Take heaps of knickers, and a couple of pairs of pjs in case you bleed heaps, and moisturiser and lip balm. I also took hair product (I look like a yeti without it ) and mascara which made me feel a little better. I'd also suggest taking a few more baby outfits than you think you'll need. Especially if you are having a boy, I got caught out a few times during nappy changes with Dominic and Isobelle just puked on everything (still does!).
