Ha ha on the hand knitted outfits thing. Hard to be tactful sometimes... they come with love though don't they.

Suggestions:
1. make polite suggestions about what might be useful, (hats, booties, mittens rather than jackets)

2. you could also get your wife / partner to find some modern patterns and wool colours you like. That's what I did - believe it or not there are some cute ones these days and some of the old ones are classy too!!!!

3. get them made into different sizes so they can grown into them -

We did these things and rellies got the hint and now we have a range of things we actually like. Awesome idea making a blog for us fellows out here.
we are getting our third scan soon which is pretty bloody cool. we had some problems in the past with our pregnance but its all sorted now 2nd attempt

not sure what to put down for the rest but im sure there are gonna be heaps more dudes that are gonna leave a little story.

Hey fellas,

Not sure how many of you guys are truly out there... And yes ladies, I mean your men, not you pretending to be them...

So fellas, I want a place for us to talk about whats bothering us, what we're excited about/nervous about, what we're looking forward to etc etc...

Might even slip some sports in there from time to time

Ladies, encourage your men to get online and do what all guys dont always do best..... share!

In the meantime, my DW is due on 4th October and we just had our first scan at 7 weeks. It was pretty cool to see the little bean on the screen with its hearbeat going manic! Quite humbling and I was grinning from ear to ear!

Also just told our parents. It was good because I dont like keeping secrets and it was good to be able to tell someone about the pregnancy.

Typically, my Mother was all clucky but it was great to tell my Dad. I reckon he was real proud and its great to be doing something else in my life that my Dad and I can both relate to. Will be interesting...

Anyway, keen to hear how you guys are getting on
