My MW mentioned to me that an Antibody had shown up on my 28 week bloods but when I had bloods again at 30 weeks it wasn't there anymore.

She said there are 2 different antibodies that can usually show up on the blood tests and they may be there for one test but not the next one. I think she said that the one that I have is nothing to worry about and it happens alot in PG women. But if I had the other antibody they would have to keep a closer eye on it or something (sorry preggy brain trying to remember stuff from 6 weeks ago!!!)

I'm sure that bubs will be fine, atleast they know that you have had the antibody in your system so they can treat anything that could happen properly. Ive just got back from visiting my midwife who gave me the results of my second antenatal bloods.
I am Rh -ve, but my bloods show an antibody that they couldnt define - odd, it wasnt there in the first lot of bloods. MW said it was only a problem if i needed a blood transfusion - does anyone know much about antibodies? My concern is that - because it is an unknown antibody, could it hurt the baby?
