He's done some explosions & they have been contained.<br /><br />eta: I've been amazed at how absorbant they are! Takes a few washes but they are really good & keep his little butt dry. <br /><br />The other cloth I have on him is Down undies outers with flats folded inside & they don't contain that well & flats aren't that absorbant either.<span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by Aliasmum</span>]]>

The newer style is cut to fit from 2.5kg so is truely a newborn nappy (as apposed to other 'smalls' that might not fit until 6-8wks of age).  I have a couple in my newborn stash (not yet in use) and they look really cute & tiny!  They come with a microfibre insert but can also comfortably fit a booster as well which would give you plenty of absorbency.  Try looking on TM but just make sure it's the newer style as the older style is bigger.]]>

Waiting for him to get a bit bigger now!]]>
