My left ear has been blocked for two weeks. When it first started, I went to a clinic to get my ear syringed. But then she informed me that there was no wax whatsoever in there!
So then, a trip to the GP and on antibiotics in case of ear infection - did absolutely nothing! She also did a very simple hearing test which really freaked me out, cause I could only hear 2/5 noises in the bad ear.
So now, I have an appt with a specialist next week.
Apparently, it can be a pregnancy thing which is a bit like glue ear and can be fixed with grommets.
I have been worrying myself sick that I'm going deaf!

I would suggest making an appt with the nurse at your doctors and having your ears flushed. As Littlestar said it is just warm water so perfectly safe. You will feel so much better once it is done

They work really well. You can buy them from the pharmacy or a health food store. That would rule out a wax problem.

Although I have heard of other women getting ear problems during pregnancy and /or breastfeeding.
