I"m just concerned that he's getting too used to the idea of suckling for comfort or to go back to sleep because he was sick before he got his cold and due to dehydration was being allowed to eat whenever he so chose.
Through the day I am getting him to sleep without boobie sometimes but would that be enough for him to rmember to sleep without boobie.

Also my understanding is that the more he feeds of you the more milk you will produce. His kneeding (i know ouch) and head butting (can't say my sons done that) will be helping get you to produce more. My son has a blocked nose at the moment and finds it harder work to get a let down because it can't suction on so it takes longer that usual and i have a very quick letdown. I think becuase he's sick i would just keep going with what makes him slightly comfortable - being sick is yuck for anyone. Awww that sounds quite tough!! Most likely he is feeling sore and grizzling and won't want to eat a lot. He will therefore be filling up on breastmilk and enjoying that as a bit of comfort as well. Oh I forgot to say he also seems incredibly hungry through the day but my boobs seem like they just aren't giving him what he wants. Normal I have a fast let down but he gets all frustrated at me because its not fast at the moment and then it just doesn't seem to be enough. He's kneeding me with his hands (ouch) and headbutting me (double ouch) but still not much. He is eating solids and I have tried giving him more of that but my once very hungry solids eater is now not the fussed with solid foods. Argh I just do not know what to do with him. My poor wee lad.

Yip he woke every two hours.
Now I know he's getting his top teeth and he's coming down with a bad cold but really every two hours.
I had just got him sleeping through the night when last week a fortnight ago he got a stomach bug and now he's teething and got a cold. My question is can I still get him to sleep through the night or should I just give in and feed him and let him and I get as much sleep as we can?
