I got it!!!!
Im so happy!

They loved me They gave it to me then and there, after talking for an hour about nothing really!

No credit checks, no reference checks nothing, they just gave it to me!!

I move in the first week of April. Im so happy, they are installing a brand new heatpump on the 30th march, YAY

renting is a nightmare!!
alot of people go on about the perils of renters but it definetly goes the other way too!
we are a family of 4 soon to be 5 and thankfully after alot of stress finally found a suitable house for us to rent WITH great landlords!!!
its $350 a wk (4 brms , big yard, dbl garage) and as we desperatly are trying to save some money im really reluctant to downsize ahouse because of that very reason...landlord hunting!!

ewwww... yeah I wouldn't want someone who creeps me out living right behind me either... especially if he looks like he will knock on the door 'for a cup of sugar' cos hes not up too much.

Its very hard finding the right rental at a good price! (and bonus to have great landlords!!) so hope it goes well, think positive

I wouldnt be too sure bout that Kandice, If I was to rent my house out I would def rather a tidy and respectful young family to give them a chance as I've already said to Lisa85. Good luck with the house hunting hopefully the one you see tonight will be the right one for you guys!

Is it so hard to find a house (rental).. or shall i say a house with a good landlord.

Iv found a nice house, applied for it, and got accepted but the guy creeps me out!!
Hes a divorced late 30 early 40s guy, and when i went to have a look through it, dressed nicely and by myself, he mentioned my daughter and i said yes, shes 19 months old, and he looks me up and down like 'that' you know what i mean.

It freaks me out, because he lives in the house behind the one iv been excepted for. When i was applying he was talking to me about how hes divorced and doesnt do much and what not.

So iv decided to turn it down, it was more than ideal but not perfect but hes put me off.

So tonight at 7pm i have to look through what seems to be the perfect house for me!
2 bedrooms, big yard, open plan, very tidy and double internal excess garage and the lady sounds lovely!!

BUT

Shes going to take one look at me, see im young and probably give it to someone else
