Still haven't done tomatoes cos of reflux.<br /><br />The Alison Holst book is quite good - sorry, can't think of sites.<br /><br />Rusks are fine.<br /><br />Do you give the baby rice with pureed fruit (Daniel has 11/2T rice, 1 1/2T puree fruit)?  Also you could try the older age muesli as that has less iron]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=19176">FionaO</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 25334<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 19 March 2009 at 5:18pm<br /><br />Hi,<br /><br />DS hs been on solids for probably about a month and he just loves them.<br /><br />He also seems to prefer his veg, which I guess is a good thing.<br /><br />We have tried, swede, carrot, pumpkin, sweet potato, pear, mango, banana and apple and all the combos of that lot mixed together.<br /><br />Since things are going well I am keen to introduce new vegetables but not sure which ones to go for, I have the plunket list but it seems to say most of the veg other than the ones I have tried are 7 months plus???<br /><br />Oh and I have found out that baby rice clogs him up like mad so now avoiding it, when can I try him on something else for breakfast like porridge or something? I have looked in the supermarket but can only see rice as an option - can I make my own? Is it too soon.<br /><br />]]>
