It was a doozy, 7.8.. a fair way off the coast of Tonga, but not sure whats left there after the 'riots' anyways, so don't think there was damage, just a lot of panicking (in case of tsunami) ... Im in similar boat can't contact him unless I phone (after work hours of course, to have a decent chat pah)

Get bit worried bout the old man as he is there most of the time by himself, he is an Argentinian hahaha

Gosh i hadn't heard about that. I wonder if my mum has heard from Sela. Problem is none of the people we know have email over there so it can be really hard to contact them. We pretty much have to wait until they call us. My dad lives there (my stepmum is Tongan) he has been there for about 15 years now and loves it, (my stepmum however lives in Oz, and is always travelling back and forth)

I don't have family there but do have really close family friends. Sela was my second mother lol. You from tonga?
